Above: Merlin's Stone at Drumelzier Haugh near Broughton , southwest of Peebles, shows from the left, the stars of Canis Major and Columba (both uncertain), the top of Orion and a large sworl for empty space, and to the right upper side, Taurus. The stone is in the shape of a head with a pharaoh-type of hat. The sworl marks the ear.
