The largest stone megalith on the Ferschweiler Plateau near Niederburg is near the border of Germany and Luxembourg and marks Luxembourg as Corvus in the astronomical Neolithic geodetics (land survey) of the ancients. The entire megalith has the form of a bird on its nest. This stone is currently and erroneously called the "Offering Stone" (Opferstein) in Germany.
