La Vouivre is a legend of Franche-Comté (Franche-Comte) which - in our interpretation of the legend - sees the stars of Andromeda as a serpent having "two antennas" (the stars which are generally portrayed as the "horns" of Andromeda in drawing this constellation).

The Vouivre of Avoudrey has a crown of pearls and diamonds and this is of course Andromeda with the crown of Cassiopeia
