Indonesia - Sulawesi (earlier called Celebes) - Tana Toraja

Megaliths in Southeast Asia are found at Sulawesi in Indonesia
(Sulawesi used to be called Celebes).
The megaliths are those of the Tana Toraja
(which means land of the Toraja People).

Indonesia - Sumba (earlier called Sandalwood Island)

There is a part of Indonesia where tribes erect megalithic-like monuments as tombs. This is at Sumba which used to be called Sandalwood Island.

There is not enough map or photo information about Southeast Asia available to draw any kind of conclusions about the megaliths.

Taiwan

Lin Sheng-yi (林勝義) and Ho Hsien-jung (何顯榮) have written a controversial book, Taiwan - Cradle of Civilization, interpreting the megalithic sites on Taiwan. Lin states about Chihsing Mountain (at Yangmingshan Park and its allegedly man-made pyramid):

"As you can see the rocks have been shaped and put together so as to represent two gigantic beasts meeting head on".

We simply do not have enough information, photos or maps available about the megaliths on Taiwan to draw any conclusions about them.
